Citrus Cardiology Consultants is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiovascular team in Inverness, Florida.
This is a hospital-based cardiology position offering a 7-on/7-off daytime schedule and the opportunity to work alongside experienced cardiologists in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Providers will participate in inpatient cardiovascular care, hospital rounding, consults, and ongoing patient management while gaining exposure to a broad range of cardiovascular conditions.

Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in the hospital setting

Participate in daily hospital rounding and inpatient cardiovascular care

Perform cardiovascular consults and follow-up evaluations

Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including EKGs, laboratory studies, imaging, and stress testing

Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans

Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans

Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
