Overview
We are an established manufacturer and distributor of retro gaming devices and video gaming accessories located in Torrance, California, seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant, based on site at our Torrance office. Must have experience with copy editing and proofreading and working extensively with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Proofread and edit product packaging, user guides, sell sheets and related materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for project documentation.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, samples and project timelines.
- Coordinate communication between internal teams and external vendors or factories.
- Perform general administrative duties, including measuring, weighing and shipping boxes up to 25 lbs.
- Support special projects and additional research as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts and skills.
- Very organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
