To support our USVI operations, we need a USVI Deputy Terminal Manager that will be responsible for supporting the Terminal Manager in the safety, operation of the terminal and into-plane fueling activities, ensuring uninterrupted receipt, storage, quality control, and delivery of products, promoting and enforcing compliance with standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, participating in shift rotations and providing operational leadership during weekends, holidays, and emergency situations, acting as the Terminal Manager during absences, ensuring continuity of operations and decision-making, maintaining maintenance and asset reliability programs to ensure operational readiness of terminal facilities and refueler fleet while performing the following activities:

Assistance to Terminal Manager in ensuring that Safety, Security, Health Quality and Environmental expectations are met.

Assistance to Terminal Manager in ensuring compliance with the Local and Federal Agencies (USCG, EPA, EQB, etc.).

Responsible for the implementation of the safety procedures during work, provide and sign work permits.

Promote a safety culture with zero tolerance for shortcuts or unsafe behaviors.

Support the implementation of Integrity Plan and conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.

Participates in the external / internal maintenance program's implementation and control.

Carry out regular tests of operational and safety equipment, confirming its reliability

Ensures that Safety tools are properly and continuously used at terminals.

Coordination and supervision of operation in terminal and into plane facilities (physically present during the operations, conducts all the necessary steps from vessel's/plane arrival to departure).

Coordination of product transfer between Tanks.

Supervises tank dipping for inventory reconciliation.

Support metrology control at Terminal and into-plane activities (Meter calibration,

Coordination and participation in emergency drills.

Serves as member of Emergency Response Teams.

Assists Terminal Manager in preparation/update of emergency response plans.

Assists Terminal Manager on training of terminal personnel.

Participates in projects execution and planning and lead improvement works at the terminal

Relieves Operations Assistant Managers absences.

Assist in the preparation of PO for goods and services and Invoices monitoring.

Any other tasks assigned by the terminal management.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with MAESTRO’s principles, rules, procedures, among others, related to the job holder area and/or department, along with the implementation of the defined actions plan as a result of audits, inspections, visits, etc.

This position often involves hands-on tasks in both indoor control rooms and outdoor settings, sometimes under changing weather conditions, exposed to the elements, heat, rain, high humidity, dust, as well as hazardous materials, exhaust fumes and high noise levels and heavy vehicular and aircraft traffic. This role is crucial for ensuring continuous operations and maintaining safety standards, strong teamwork and communication skills are a must. The role also demands physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, lifting (+15 pounds) and typing. Adaptability to shift schedules in a work environment and have a strong commitment to safety.
