Alpha Resource Center is looking for a Culinary Kitchen Assistant to join our team!
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking, working with people, and making a positive impact in the community.
In this role, you'll work alongside our Culinary Program Coordinator to prepare daily lunches, assist with baking projects, support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they build culinary skills, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized commercial kitchen.
We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys cooking or has culinary experience
- Has a positive, patient, and encouraging attitude
- Has an interest in or experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Works well as part of a team
- Is organized, dependable, and enjoys helping others succeed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass DOJ fingerprint clearance and pre-employment health requirements (including TB clearance)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
