PROJECT COORDINATOR:
Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures. Help deliver projects efficiently and manages the administrative tasks, such as document and information management, and communication support.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager and staff in the planning and coordination of project requirements.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the proper team member.
- Read construction documents and generate material takeoffs based off of shop drawings.
- Assist with preparing estimates and proposals.
- Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and vendors.
- Procure quotes, order materials, issue purchase orders, manage order deadlines.
- Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and vendors.
- Develop itemized materials list and request pricing quotes from vendors.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties and processing related paperwork.
- Generate work orders, purchase orders, packing lists, bill of ladings, shipping paperwork.
- Pack materials for shipping LTL, USPS, FedEx, UPS.
- Assist with scheduling pickups and deliveries for truck, boat and air shipments.
- Check quality of received material.
- Manage job files, scheduling, material orders, and shipping paperwork.
- Track and manage materials, job requirements, timelines.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
- Knowledge of construction/architecture related curriculum and blueprint reading skills is required. Candidates without this skill will not be considered
- Computer skills and use of Smartsheets, Excel and other Microsoft Office programs is required.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Efficient, resilient, flexible, and goal oriented.
- Strong organization, self-management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Works well on a teamwork and has strong people skills.
- Robust communication skills; both written and verbal.
- AA or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Compensation:
- Full benefits package (medical, dental, 401K, vacation pay).
- 10 paid holidays per year.
- Hourly Wage: Based on experience.
- Starting Salary: $22.00 /hour + depending on experience
- Job Type: Full-time – 7:30 am to 4:00 pm – Monday – Friday with some overtime.
