A company located in the Perrysburg, OH region is currently looking for an Electrical Designer to join their team.
Core Duties and Functions
Your primary responsibilities will involve the following:

Create comprehensive design and detail documentation, such as isometric views, sections, and plans, to assist Discipline Leads.

Organize and oversee project records, including CAD files, reference materials, and flat files.

Act as a Project or Discipline Lead for specific assignments by managing scope, estimating labor hours, suggesting staffing needs, performing quality checks, and participating in project status meetings.

Communicate directly with clients to explain design concepts and track potential changes to the project scope.

Collaborate with external suppliers and internal teams to gather necessary project data.
Required Qualifications and Background

Demonstrate technical proficiency using Inventor and AutoCAD software.

Hold an Associate Degree in a relevant technical field or possess equivalent professional experience.

Bring at least five years of experience in a drafting role.

Maintain a solid understanding of industry reference guides and the National Electric Code.

Apply expertise in power distribution, including grounding, motor controls, heat tracing, lighting, and systems ranging from 480V to 12kV.

Prior experience with electrical design in industrial, chemical, or energy sectors is highly desirable.

Utilize Microsoft Office applications effectively.
