Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Phone Repair Technician with extensive experience in cell phone repairs, hardware and software troubleshooting. Responsibilities
- Perform detailed diagnostics on mobile devices such as smartphones (Android and iOS), tablets, and other consumer electronics to identify hardware and software issues.
- Conduct repairs on various devices including smartphone screen replacements, battery swaps, motherboard repairs, and soldering of electrical components.
- Troubleshoot operating systems (Android, iOS, macOS, Windows) to resolve software conflicts or malfunctions.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble devices with precision.
- Maintain and calibrate hardware components such as printers, copiers, laptops, desktops, and other electronic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support for mobile devices and desktop computers by analyzing issues related to hardware failures or software errors.
- Deliver excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair cycle.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems along with macOS and Windows platforms.
- Proven experience in hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs for consumer electronics including smartphones, laptops, desktops, printers, and copiers.
- Skilled in using hand tools for delicate electronic repairs such as soldering electrical components on circuit boards.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware maintenance including component replacement and system upgrades.
- Ability to perform detailed analysis skills to identify root causes of device malfunctions efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Familiarity with mobile device troubleshooting support and technical support procedures for various operating systems.
- Knowledge of electrical soldering techniques necessary for advanced repairs on circuit boards or device components.
