Compensation:
$70,000 to start
Responsibilities:-
Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, summons, and other legal memoranda

E-file all court documents in state and federal court
-
Diligently medically manage client care to maximize case value

Communicate with clients, court, counsel, and others
-
Conduct legal research and factual investigation
-
Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses
-
Coordinate and summarize depositions
-
Prepare trial binders and exhibits
-
Draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the court
-
Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics)
-
Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
-
Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
-
Aid attorney with interrogatories and other discovery requests
-
Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
-
Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties
-
Witness preparation

Assist with case settlements
Qualifications:

Ability to prioritize and manage workload with minimal supervision

Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with exceptional attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Education/Training/Experience:
Required:
-
2 years of litigation experience
-
2 years of experience in Personal Injury or other injury-related practice areas
-
Strong drafting and writing skills
-
Familiarity with legal specifics related to the firm’s areas of law

Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, practices

Experience with E-Filing Portal

Proficient in technology & software, including databases
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

2+ years of litigation experience

2+ years of experience in Personal Injury or other injury-related practice areas

Experience with Filevine and LeadDocket
