Literacy Coach
Holy Family School in South Bend is in search of a qualified individual to serve as Literacy Coach during the 2026/2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be faith-filled and dedicated to providing quality instruction for students of all abilities integrating the mission of Holy Family School and the Diocese of Fort Wayne / South Bend in all teaching, coaching, and classroom activities to benefit students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
Job Responsibilities Include:

Consult / collaborate with administration, and classroom teachers to schedule, plan, and instruct small groups during Tiered Intervention.

Align curriculum and instruction with science of reading with fidelity and implement the Amplify.

Participate in all reporting, monitoring, or evaluation activities requested or required by IDOE.

Engage in data-driven instructional coaching for grades K-3.

Regularly communicate with teachers and staff regarding student needs, interventions, and progress towards goals.

Commit to ongoing faith formation and professional growth.

Foster the spiritual development of students by modeling Catholic doctrine, values, and morals.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
Demonstrate an expertise in reading.

Show potential for instructional leadership and coaching

Ability to use effective and appropriate communication techniques with students, parents, staff, agencies, and community members.

Basic knowledge of Google Suite software (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, etc.), Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs,
-
Stand for 30 minutes at a time,
-
Operate a computer, hand-held learning devices and other office equipment.

Must occasionally lift and / or move up to 10 pounds.
