Job Overview
Midvale Golf & Country Club is seeking professional, friendly, and service-focused Servers to join our Food & Beverage team. Servers are responsible for providing an excellent member and guest experience through attentive, efficient, and courteous service in the Grill Room, dining areas, patios, events, and other club service areas as assigned.
This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented private club environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests warmly and professionally.
- Provide attentive and anticipatory service throughout the dining experience.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them correctly into the POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, beverages, allergies, and club events.
- Wine service.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, and management teams.
- Check back with tables to ensure member and guest satisfaction.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables according to club standards.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining rooms, service stations, patios, and other assigned areas.
- Support banquet, event, and club functions as needed.
- Follow all alcohol service laws and club policies regarding responsible beverage service.
- Handle member requests, complaints, or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and follow the club’s uniform and grooming standards.
- Work cooperatively with fellow team members to create a positive service culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Jonas, Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant technology platforms
- Proven experience in food service, fine dining, or the food industry with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Strong cocktail experience along with wine knowledge to recommend pairings and upsell effectively
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy period.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that fosters guest loyalty
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with restaurant operations including bussing tables, host/hostess duties, and supporting kitchen staff when necessary
Servers at Midvale are expected to provide service that is friendly, professional, and consistent. Team members should be proactive, courteous, and focused on creating a welcoming environment for members and guests.

Pay: $12.50 per hour
