Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization, and thrives in a busy restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Assist with daily food preparation and station setup
- Cook menu items accurately and efficiently during service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Properly store, label, and rotate food products
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Help with opening and closing kitchen duties
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and knife skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Food Handler Permit (or ability to obtain one)
