American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for an 8-week travel contract requiring Level 1 trauma experience, Epic proficiency, and an active MA RN license.

Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department
-
State-of-the-art ED with 44 beds across over 45,000 sq ft, including a fast-track area, behavioral health suite, imaging suite, pharmacy, private treatment rooms, and family consultation room
-
Provides immediate care to patients experiencing accidents or acute medical emergencies
-
12-hour night shifts required
-
Every other weekend shift required
-
2 holiday shifts required
-
Epic used for patient assessment, care documentation, and medication administration; experience required
-
8-week contract

Active MA RN license required and must be in hand

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
-
Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required

Level 1 trauma center experience required
-
Epic EMR proficiency required

COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions accepted)

Flu vaccine required during flu season (medical exemptions accepted)

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible for this position

All previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility — including travel, permanent, and per diem — must have a minimum 6-month break before returning

Excessive time off requests, particularly around holidays, will not be considered
