THIS IS A MANUAL LABOR JOB WE DELIVER UP TO 150 POUND PACKAGES
Duties:
- Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle, securing items for transport.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Deliver packages to customers promptly, providing exceptional customer service at each stop.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and customer signatures.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any delays or issues encountered during deliveries.
- Assist in the warehouse as needed, including picking orders and organizing inventory.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
