Position Summary
As a CNA with Carter's Elite Homecare, you will provide non-medical personal care and companionship services that help clients maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes.
Our caregivers are the heart of our agency and play a vital role in improving the lives of those we serve.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Personal hygiene and grooming assistance
- Bathing and dressing assistance
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Medication reminders (non-medical)
- Companionship and conversation
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Transportation to appointments (when applicable)
- Monitoring changes in client condition and reporting concerns
- Maintaining accurate visit documentation
- Providing safe, compassionate, and respectful care
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Current Georgia CNA Certification (preferred)
- PCA experience will also be considered
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
Previous experience in one or more of the following is a plus:
- Home Care
- Home Health
- Assisted Living
- Long-Term Care
- Hospice
- Private Duty Care
- Memory Care
- Dementia Care
Pre-Employment Requirements

- Criminal Background Check
- Fingerprint-Based Background Screening (as required)
- Employment Eligibility Verification
- Professional Reference Checks
- Drug Screening (if required)
- Verification of CNA certification (if applicable)
