Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full Time
Esencia Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a motivated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing outpatient rehabilitation team.
This position requires working between our Davie and Tamarac clinic locations as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans.
- Instruct and progress therapeutic exercises.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in EMR.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising PT.
- Maintain a positive and professional patient experience.
- Collaborate with therapists and administrative staff to ensure quality patient care.

- Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
- Balance and Fall Prevention
- Neurological Conditions
- General Outpatient Rehabilitation
Requirements:
- Active Florida PTA License (Required)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Outpatient experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Schedule:
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- Approximately 40 hours per week

Work Locations:

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
