- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their experience
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, maintaining quality and efficiency
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales transactions, and cash handling
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote specials or new products effectively
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to sanitation standards
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Assist with food prep, stocking supplies, and managing inventory to keep the operation running smoothly
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards within the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a lively café or restaurant environment
