Duties
- Assist with table setting, ensuring each setting is immaculate and ready for guests
- Support food service by bussing tables promptly and efficiently, maintaining a tidy dining area
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting for supplies, ensuring safe lifting practices at all times
- Maintain sanitation standards through regular cleaning of dining areas, kitchen spaces, and equipment
- Aid in food handling and preparation under supervision, following food safety protocols diligently
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
- Support catering events by setting up tables, serving food, and managing cleanup afterward
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, demonstrating familiarity with industry standards
- Strong cleaning and sanitation skills to uphold hygiene standards consistently
- Knowledge of table setting techniques and serving practices to enhance guest satisfaction
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
- Excellent communication skills for internal team coordination and delivering exceptional customer service
- Experience with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
