Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled handyman with expertise in a variety of tasks that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the facility. The ideal candidate must be proficient in managing general repairs, handling basic electrical repairs such as fixing outlets and replacing fixtures, and performing basic plumbing tasks like unclogging drains and replacing faucets.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, painting, general repairs, and carpentry
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems
- Follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to communicate with staff and management
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- EXPERIENCE – Minimum 5 years’ experience working in maintenance
- Driver's License (Required)
Responsibilities
- Work with management to ensure the quality of work meets the standards set by the owner
- Perform tasks associated with electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting
- Maintain, repair HVAC systems
- Repair and treat structures such as sinks, equipment, doors, cabinets, walls and building exteriors
- Schedule and complete preventative maintenance
- Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors
- Electrical circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches, and fuses
- Installation and minor repairs of certain appliances
- Toilets, sinks, disposals
- Minor carpentry repairs
- Minor painting and drywall repair
- Clearing drains and sewer lines
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
