At Ashley Furniture, our Service Technicians are responsible for communicating with external guests and internal associates. Service technicians notate all new information, update work order tickets and departments when services are needed. Our Technicians are also responsible for services and repairs for our guests. Service Technicians play a key role in leading an exceptional customer service experience at Ashley. Providing information and solutions for our guests is our goal.
Job Expectations
In House
- Inspect all staged furniture for next day delivery
- Repair items brought to the shop area
- Prepare all parts for next day in field service route
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Maintain shop organization
- Insures uses of all safety equipment
In Field
- Repairing furniture in guest’s homes
- Able to follow a precise schedule for tech services in our guest’s homes
- Organization of service vehicle
- Updating guests on service arrival

Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Proven experience in furniture repair, restoration, and cleaning
- Customer Service (one year minimum)
- Leather repair
- Sewing repair
- Wood repair
- Able to operate cutting tools, sanding, painting, etc.
- Must have D.O.T
- Strong Problem-solving skills/attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and create a flexible schedule
