Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled RN CVOR to support surgical operations. The role involves assisting surgeons during procedures, preparing and managing surgical instruments, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring efficient nursing care throughout the perioperative process.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scrub functions, including selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during surgical procedures.
Perform circulating functions, including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition, and managing overall nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
Directly assist the operating physician with surgical tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning.
Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment for use.
Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and procedural protocols.
Required Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Indiana.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical or CVOR nursing.
Knowledge of operating room procedures, instruments, and surgical protocols.
Strong patient care and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
CVOR certification or relevant perioperative nursing certification.
Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Attention to detail and adherence to surgical safety standards.
