Job Title: Furniture Delivery/Warehouse Associate/ sales

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Furniture Delivery Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. As a Furniture Delivery Associate (you will be driving a box truck), you will be responsible for delivering furniture and mattresses to our customers' homes, providing exceptional service throughout the delivery process, as. well as helping in the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Work days Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10-4/5. Could be later depending on delivery schedule. Options to work other days as well.
- Safely and efficiently load furniture and mattresses onto delivery truck, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Help unload furniture and mattress truckloads
- Use appropriate moving equipment such as dollies
- Navigate delivery routes using GPS or printed maps, adhering to delivery schedules and timelines.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service during delivery, including greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Unload and place furniture and mattresses in customers' homes according to their preferences, taking care to avoid damage to property or furniture.
- Assemble furniture as needed, following manufacturer instructions and guidelines.
- Driving boxtruck safely
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently, including obtaining customer signatures for proof of delivery.
- Show up on time.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory, restocking shelves, and showroom upkeep.
Qualifications:
- 1-2year+ working in the industry
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in furniture delivery or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy furniture and mattresses, up to 100 pounds, with or without assistance.
- Experience driving a box truck or similar commercial vehicle
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
