Financial Service Representative (Full Time & Part Time)
Red Wing Credit Union has over 70 years of history servicing members of Goodhue County.
We are looking for a service-oriented individual to fill a Financial Service Representative position at our growing office in Red Wing. If you enjoy helping people and are detail oriented, we encourage you to apply and become part of our team!
As a Financial Service Representative you will assist our members and potential members with their Credit Union needs; by explaining services, providing clerical and administrative support and making appropriate referrals to credit union staff.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
· Process checking and savings deposits & withdrawals: verify cash and endorsements, process cash advances, request proper identification, and issue receipts
· Provide support and assistance for electronic banking services
· Accept loan payments: verify payment amount, ensure proper coding and issue receipts
· Assist members with their financial transaction needs, and answer questions about products and services
· Maintain member account information in the credit unions data management system.
· Assist members with safe deposit boxes and perform daily balancing of cash drawers and ATM
Knowledge and Skills:
· Experience – one year to three years of similar or related experience
· Education – a high school diploma or equivalent
Interpersonal Skills:
Confident and articulate communication is an essential element of the job. Work involves considerable personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining confidential information, and building relationships. Strong attention to detail and problem resolution are required.
