Duties
- Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling to keep projects on schedule
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and finishing
- Support rebar installation and concrete forming activities to ensure structural integrity
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete using mixers and pumps to create durable foundations and surfaces
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and assist tradespeople accordingly
- Perform heavy lifting of materials, equipment, and supplies to facilitate smooth workflow
- Support masonry work, tile laying, stucco application, and other finishing tasks as needed
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes following safety protocols for material movement
- Assist with roofing, carpentry (including trim carpentry and metal stud framing), plastering, caulking, and restoration projects
- Follow safety guidelines diligently to maintain a secure work environment at all times
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating tools and understanding construction equipment functions
- Construction estimating experience is a plus for understanding project scope and resource needs
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, pumps, and other construction equipment
- Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, and masonry work
- Experience with heavy lifting and the operation of heavy machinery or equipment such as forklifts or cranes
- Familiarity with various construction trades including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim), roofing, stucco application, flooring installation, tile laying, welding, plastering, caulking, and restoration processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout long workdays
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience in commercial driving is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions from supervisors or lead tradespeople

Pay: $24.82 - $29.89 per hour
