About Fady Group
Fady Group is a rapidly growing real estate and property management company overseeing residential and short-term rental properties throughout the Houston area. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Property Maintenance Technician to join our team full-time and help maintain our properties to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs.
- Handle plumbing repairs, including leaks, fixture replacements, and drain issues.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues such as outlets, switches, lighting, and breakers.
- Complete general handyman work including drywall, painting, carpentry, flooring, and minor renovations.
- Install appliances, fixtures, locks, smart home devices, and other property equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections across multiple properties.
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency service calls when necessary.
- Ensure all properties remain safe, functional, and guest-ready.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs when required.
- Maintain maintenance records and report major issues to management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of property maintenance, construction, or handyman experience.
- HVAC experience required; HVAC certification or license preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general residential repairs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor environments.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and professional communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience maintaining short-term rental properties.
- Knowledge of access control systems, gate operators, and smart home technology.
- Basic appliance repair experience.
- Experience managing multiple properties simultaneously.
