Power Machinery Center has an immediate opening for a motivated individual to assume the responsibilities of assisting the Service Department with day-to-day operations. With over 70 years of operation in Kern and Ventura County, Power Machinery Center offers a well trained support staff and team environment. Over 70% of current staff has been with business for over 10 years.
Responsibilities will include:
Receptionists - Answering phones and directing to the proper personnel.
Dispatching - Assisting in dispatching technician to job locations.
Data Entry - Posting labor entries onto work orders, reviewing/correcting spelling and punctuation of technician notes in work orders to get ready for supervisor review, requesting of Purchase Orders from customers, rescheduling of Planned Maintenance Services, and scanning of documents and updating excel spreadsheets.
Warranty - Filling warranties with different vendors and following up on status.
Assist office staff with miscellaneous projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products: Outlook, Excel and Word.
Ability to adhere to the highest level of professionalism in the workplace.
Education & Experience:
Bilingual preferred.
Completed High school education required. Additional continued education preferred.
