We are seeking a motivated and skilled Residential Framer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately frame residential structures.
- Erect metal building frameworks, metal stud framing, and wood framing with precision using hand tools and power tools.
- Install rebar and perform concrete forming activities to support foundation and structural components.
- Execute framing tasks including wall, roof, floor, and trim carpentry with attention to dimensional measurements and specifications.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and positioning large materials or structural components.
- Perform masonry work such as stucco application, siding installation, and restoration projects as needed.
- Ensure all framing work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project timelines through effective construction management practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential construction or framing roles with a strong understanding of construction site operations.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and interpreting construction plans accurately.
- Hands-on experience with metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, siding, drywall finishing (including plastering), and remodeling projects.
- Proficiency in using hand tools (hammers, saws), power tools (drills, saws), and heavy equipment operation related to framing tasks.
- Knowledge of masonry techniques such as stucco application and working with various siding materials.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship standards.
- Familiarity with construction management principles to coordinate tasks efficiently on-site.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction site activities including working at heights and operating machinery.
