Help Us Grow — and Grow With Us
We are a growing music lesson business looking for an energetic, dependable, results-driven person who wants to become an important part of our team.
This is not a position for someone who simply wants to show up, put in their hours, and go home.
We are looking for someone who enjoys talking with people, follows through, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and is comfortable being held accountable to measurable goals.
Your work will directly contribute to growing our lesson programs, increasing sales, serving our customers, and keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Making sales and follow-up calls to prospective and existing customers
- Responding promptly and professionally to customer emails and inquiries
- Following up with leads and helping convert inquiries into customers
- Selling merchandise, equipment, inventory, lessons, and other services
- Scheduling teachers and coordinating multiple music lessons
- Helping keep lesson schedules organized and accurate
- Building positive relationships with students, parents, teachers, and customers
- Working independently and taking ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Supporting special events, promotions, and other business activities
- Following up on opportunities instead of waiting to be told what to do
- Meeting established goals for calls, follow-ups, scheduling, sales, and other key activities
Who We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you are:
Reliable. If you're scheduled to work, we need to know you'll be there and ready to contribute.
Comfortable with sales. You don't have to be a high-pressure salesperson. You do need to be comfortable starting conversations, asking questions, recommending products or services, following up, and asking customers to make a decision.
Accountable. We track results. You'll have clear expectations and measurable goals, and we'll expect you to take responsibility for achieving them.
Self-motivated. There will be times when you'll need to recognize what needs to be done and get it done without someone standing over your shoulder.
Organized. Coordinating teachers, students, lesson schedules, customer inquiries, follow-ups, inventory, and events requires attention to detail.
Friendly and professional. You'll represent our business with customers, students, parents, teachers, and the community.
Growth-minded. We're looking for someone who wants to help us bring in more customers, increase sales, grow our lesson programs, and make the business better.
Experience
Previous experience in sales, retail, customer service, music, education, scheduling, or administrative work is helpful, but attitude, dependability, communication skills, and willingness to learn are extremely important to us.
An interest in music is a plus.
Compensation & Schedule
- Starting pay: $15.50 per hour
- Approximately 2–3 days per week
- Approximately 8-hour shifts
- Some event availability may be required
- Opportunity for increased responsibility as you demonstrate results and the business grows
What Success Looks Like
We want you to know what is expected of you.
Successful team members consistently follow up with customers, respond to inquiries, make outbound calls, help convert opportunities into sales, keep lessons and teachers organized, support events, and contribute ideas that help the business grow.
We believe good employees deserve clear expectations, feedback, and the opportunity to see how their work makes a difference.
