American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 26-week travel contract requiring ACLS and BLS, with night shift scheduling and float responsibilities across adult medical surgical units.

Hospital Medical Surgical unit setting
-
Patient ratio of 4-6:1
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Every other weekend required
-
Block scheduling is not available
-
Float required within the adult medical surgical competency group, including AU, OSU, GSU, NVU, CAR, GMU, AMU, and EMCU units, as well as CC units for Med/Surg and IMC overflow patients

26-week contract
-
Active Michigan (MI) RN license required

Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required

Must be available for the first 2 weeks of the assignment to complete orientation requirements

Only one holiday time-off request allowed — either the holiday itself or the eve/day after, but not both (e.g., Thanksgiving Day or Thanksgiving Eve/Day After; Christmas Eve or Christmas Day)
