Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse
- Conduct order picking and packing using barcode scanning for logistics accuracy and efficiency
- Manage inventory through warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage practices
- Perform quality control checks during order fulfillment to maintain product integrity and adherence to safety standards
- Support shipping & receiving operations by accurately loading and unloading shipments while following safety protocols and PPE guidelines
- Assist with stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and organizing materials for optimal warehouse distribution flow
- Utilize RF scanners for barcode scanning to track inventory movements and update records in real-time
Experience
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar heavy machinery
- Strong background in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems with familiarity in barcode scanning technology
- Prior experience in order picker roles, packing, shipping & receiving, or related warehouse operations preferred
- Knowledge of safety procedures including PPE use, manual handling techniques, and heavy lifting safety standards
- Excellent basic math skills for inventory counting and order accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols diligently while operating mechanical equipment
- Warehouse supervisor experience or leadership roles in warehouse settings is a plus but not required
