We are seeking a reach truck operator for one of our clients in Denver, CO!
Job Summary
Handles, stages, and pulls heavy commercial printing paper and packaging inventory in warehouse.
Duties
- Equipment Operation: Driving stand-up reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other warehouse equipment to move heavy stock.
- Order Fulfillment: Picking, wrapping, and strapping customer orders, ensuring zero errors prior to shipping.
- Staging: Organizing loaded skids and placing them in the correct dock areas for delivery.
- Safety: Maintaining a safety-first workspace and adhering to warehouse protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience operating reach trucks, forklift trucks, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picker operations.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs or troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to material handling and heavy equipment operation.
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Prior experience in warehouse supervision or materials handling is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly and operate equipment safely over extended periods. Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
