Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately by processing cash, credit, and debit payments while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Manage retail sales activities including upselling, cross-selling, and promoting store promotions to maximize sales opportunities.
- Perform retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and inventory management to ensure accuracy in all transactions.
- Enter data efficiently into retail software systems for sales tracking, inventory updates, and customer information management.
- Support retail store operations by maintaining clean displays, restocking shelves, and organizing merchandise for optimal presentation.
- Assist with loan processing and collections related to retail lending services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments; prior retail store experience is highly preferred.
- Basic math skills necessary for handling cash transactions, calculating discounts, and managing inventory counts.
- Familiarity with financial software systems and data entry processes to ensure accurate record keeping.
- Strong communication skills to effectively assist customers and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to handle cash drawer operations confidently while adhering to cash handling procedures and security protocols.
- Knowledge of retail lending processes such as loan collections and processing is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
