Job Summary
Small boutique salon seeking assistant with an interest in becoming a licensed stylist to perform the following duties:
Shampoos
Sweeping/Cleaning
Folding/Laundering Salon towels and capes
Greeting Clients
Answer phones & book appointments
Get refreshments for clients (coffee, tea, water)
Take payments
Mix color
Basic Blowdrying and styling
The ideal candidate is always on time, does not mind sweeping the same spot many times (there's always hair clippings), is willing to be gentle with stylists/artists, while helping them stay on schedule. We will also favor anyone currently in cosmetology school or looking to log hours as part of the cosmetology board aprentice program for stylists.
Compensation starts at $16/hour, plus you will make tips from shampoos.
