Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to inspire creativity and artistic expression in our students. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive art curricula that align with educational standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking.
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
- Mentor students in their artistic development and provide constructive feedback on their work.
- Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development and participate in school-wide initiatives.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide individualized support as needed.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
- Stay current with trends in art education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Art Education or related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Experience working with students of varying ages, including early childhood education and special education.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Proven experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Knowledge of literacy education, math integration into art projects, and tutoring strategies is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or early intervention strategies is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating strong independent teaching skills.

Pay: $64,753.52 - $77,982.73 per year
