Develop standard quality policies and procedures, and quality system development as required with quality excellence organization.

Lead the supplier and manufacturing Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
-
Define product specification quality requirements and CTQ metrics.
-
Review, approve, and develop Quality Control Plans, process flow diagrams, Process Failure Modes Effect and Analysis (P-FMEA)

Work with suppliers (raw materials and purchased components) on resolving defective material issues, root cause analysis, and corrective action using QMS methodology. (ie. 5-Why, 8D)

Implement and manage customer metrics.

Collaborate and drive international initiatives.

Serve as the Management Representative for the local QMS.

Manage audits – customer, 3rd party, and internal – through scheduling, task assignments, preparation, and required corrective action lists.

Act as a liaison with customers on quality or other customer satisfaction related issues.

Ensure equipment is calibrated and schedule upcoming calibrations. Monitor condition of test equipment and test fixtures.

Actively participate in failed transformer autopsy and provide inputs to concerned personnel for failure RCA report.

Have functional oversight and responsibility for the quality systems performed by the Quality Department, including management review.

Lead the team to consistently identify, develop and implement continuous quality improvement plans in accordance with facility and organizational objectives.

Ensure activities are in compliance with SGB-SMIT Quality Management System requirements and applicable government regulations for manufactured products.

Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Role.

Strong computer skills and understanding Word/Excel/PowerPoint & Projects

Excellent knowledge of ISO 9001. (14001 and 45001 is a plus)

Ability to pass nationwide background check, physical and drug screen.
