Truck driver with clean record is needed to deliver Berkshire Brewing Company products throughout the state of MA. This includes delivering in Western MA and throughout Eastern MA. This person must be able to handle physical work delivering beer to restaurants/stores and manage basic computer applications on an iPhone.
Schedule: Full-time work schedule is 5 days a week, T-F, 35-50 hours. Each day the driver will report to the South Deerfield Warehouse at 6-7AM. Ending time each day will depend on the amount of accounts being delivered.
Job Responsibilities:
Driving: The job consists of driving a box truck to restaurants or stores that have ordered beer. The truck must be driven in a safe manner and the the driver will be working alone without a helper most of the time.
Delivering: The driver will be required to accurately deliver products that correspond with the account's invoices on their given sales route. The driver will then unload all of the product and move them to the storage area for the establishment. In many cases, the storage area is in a basement or upstairs.
Requirements: Driver must have a clean driving record and truck driving/delivery experience.
The driver must have the physical ability to pick up cases of beer up to 50 lbs., use a hand truck up and down stairs while moving kegs and cases of beer from the truck to the customer's storage area.
