Ability to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required to support plant operations
The supervisor is responsible for maintaining plant utility systems including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, compressed air systems, water distribution, wastewater treatment equipment, pumps, piping systems, HVAC infrastructure, and associated automation and control systems. The role ensures equipment reliability, environmental compliance, preventive maintenance execution, emergency response, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
The successful candidate will lead maintenance planning, prioritize corrective and preventive maintenance activities, manage contractors, drive equipment reliability improvements, and promote a strong safety culture while working closely with Production, Engineering, Environmental, Safety, and UAW represented employees.
Manage PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, instrumentation, and industrial automation systems supporting Energy Center and WWTP operations.
Basic Qualifications
· Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Environmental Technology, or a related technical field.
· Minimum of five (5) years of experience in manufacturing, industrial facilities, or automotive operations.
· Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or team leadership experience leading skilled trades personnel.
· Working knowledge of industrial Energy Center operations and Wastewater Treatment Plant processes.
· Experience supervising preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
· Knowledge of industrial mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems.
· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including equipment uptime, MTTR, MTBF, PM compliance, utility consumption, and maintenance backlog.
MS Office Suite proficient.
Pay: $33.00 - $37.93 per hour
