Overview
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team of amazing therapists. FULL TIME or PART TIME hours are an option. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients to help them achieve their maximum potential in daily living and working activities. You will work in both outpatient OT in our state of the art outpatient clinic and attached 24 hour fitness center. We are also a Medicare certified home health agency and regular Home Health clients are seen on caseload as well
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop effective treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' ability to perform daily activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, goals, and progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes using medical terminology.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practices.
- Experience in developing care plans tailored to individual patient needs is preferred.
- Ability to assist patients with diverse backgrounds and varying levels of ability.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
