Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and energetic Assistant Manager to join our vibrant restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, ensuring service runs seamlessly from start to finish.
- Lead staff training and development to uphold service excellence, food safety, and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage inventory control and food production processes to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Supervise front-of-house teams, fostering teamwork and maintaining high morale.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an outstanding dining experience.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, staffing schedules, and implementing operational policies to meet business goals.
Experience
- Proven assistant manager, must have Full service restaurant management service experience and supervisory experience. Must have strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service management across casual dining or fine dining settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems.is highly desirable.
- Experience in inventory control, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams, training staff, and conducting interviews.
- Knowledge of the food industry trends including catering, banquets, bar service, and hospitality management.
