Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients during deliveries. The Driver will also be responsible for loading and unloading cargo, maintaining the vehicle, and adhering to all safety regulations.
Duties
- Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for deliveries
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual lifting techniques
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including route information and delivery confirmations
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems
- Experience in warehouse operations is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and moving of goods
- Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is beneficial
- Strong customer service skills are essential

Pay: $800.00 - $1,500.00 per week
