We are expanding faster than we expected and are looking to add to our team in Savannah, GA. Perhaps you are that person who has Outbound Sales Experience (a must) and is looking to pivot selling sexy and glamorous products like ours. You’ll be calling on Event planning companies for special events, larger companies for employee events, or even not for profits who hold galas for fundraising campaigns.
We’re looking for a seasoned pro who is interested in breaking new ground, creating new business opportunities, and getting rewarded in a significant way. If you are a (really) self-motivated, self-directed business development superstar with an abundance of energy and interest in earning an exciting compensation package, then we would like to talk to you. Please be honest about your sales experience reaching out, making cold calls, pitching face-to-face, and negotiating deals.
Your goal:
- Sell luxury floor and event graphics, luxury events, and venues.
What you’ll be tasked with:
- Develop sales strategies and manage client proposals.
- Meet with customers in person, over the phone, to virtually identify their needs, convert sales, and build relationships.
- Negotiate sales contracts and prices to reach agreements
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication
- Maintain communication with existing and previous customers to alert them of new products, services, and enhancements.
- Attend networking events, research your marketplace, and ask current clientele to grow a prospect list for potential outreach.
- Strategize calls and outreach to connect with proper contacts for developing positive, long-lasting relationships. Track leads through CRM
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives via outbound sales
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Thorough understanding of the industry and industry trends
- Familiarity with marketing strategies and consumer psychology
- Proficiency: word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
- Ability and willingness to travel for trade shows, networking events, demonstrations, and client meetings
Experience:
- Event Industry: 3 years (Required)
- Outside sales: 3 years (Required)
