Truax Builders Supply has been serving the Portland, Oregon area for over seventy years, providing windows, doors, skylights, and related building products to contractors, property management companies, and homeowners. We take pride in our long-standing reputation for quality products, dependable service, and treating our customers well.
We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. Experience selling windows and doors is required.
This position involves helping customers by phone, email, and in person; answering product questions; preparing accurate quotes; and providing friendly, knowledgeable service. Strong communication skills are important, both when working with customers and when coordinating with fellow team members.
Responsibilities include:
Responding promptly and courteously to incoming customer phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
Helping customers with product questions, quotes, orders, and general concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
Learning Truax’s products and working to build strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
Providing helpful, no-pressure sales support focused on meeting each customer’s needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience with windows and doors, a friendly personality, good basic math skills, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to help customers are all important qualities for this role.
This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week. Benefits include individual health insurance, paid leave, and a retirement plan.
