American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Work in the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit (718A) of an inpatient hospital setting
-
Inpatient isolation unit providing an intermediate level of care
-
Patient care involves cell therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy treatments, blood product transfusions, and transplants occurring on the unit
-
Low nurse-to-patient ratios
-
Charting performed in Cerner (inpatient)
-
12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, scheduled 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

No on-call requirements

Active RN license in Georgia (GA) or a compact state license currently in hand

Current AHA BLS certification required; AHA ACLS preferred

Chemotherapy (chemo) certification preferred

NIHSS certification preferred

Minimum 2 years of recent BMT or relevant specialty experience required

Cerner EMR experience preferred

Driver's License required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in employment before being considered

Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
