Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials including sheet metal. This role requires proficiency in blueprint/process and procedure reading and the use of tools such as tape measures and cranes. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for assembling and fitting components to meet project specifications while ensuring high-quality standards.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday from 5:00am to 3:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications.
- Perform welding tasks using MIG techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints/process and procedures to understand project requirements.
- Utilize measuring tools to ensure precise dimensions.
- Operate cranes safely to lift and position heavy materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Fitting safe bodies, and doors on assembly line.
- Identifying, communicating and addressing any defects or issues.
- Producing work daily that is consistently accurate.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding, specifically with MIG techniques.
- Strong skills in fabricating metal parts, particularly sheet metal (10g, 12g, 14g).
- Ability to read blueprints and process and procedures accurately.
- Familiarity with using fixtures and hand tools.
- Experience in operating equipment such as Forklifts, cranes and other shop equipment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
