In this energetic role, you will operate passenger shuttles, transporting guests safely and efficiently between airport terminals and hotel locations. Your enthusiasm, professionalism, and excellent driving skills will ensure travelers enjoy a smooth, reliable, and friendly service from start to finish. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to showcase your driving expertise while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. The days that need filled are Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays - 4am -12pm or later depending.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles, including passenger vans and larger passenger vehicles, along designated routes between airports and hotels.
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, state transportation laws, and safety protocols to ensure passenger safety at all times.
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests, including helping with luggage and answering questions about routes or local area attractions.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of shuttle vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues promptly to ensure optimal operation.
- Navigate using GPS systems efficiently to stay on schedule and reach destinations promptly.
- Follow all company policies regarding vehicle operation, passenger handling, and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and hotel staff to coordinate pickups and drop-offs seamlessly.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or in similar passenger transportation roles.
- Strong knowledge of GPS navigation systems and local driving routes.
- Experience operating passenger vans, shuttle buses, or similar commercial vehicles; familiarity with limousine or paratransit services is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as loading/unloading luggage safely.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety standards for commercial driving.
- Capable of heavy lifting when assisting with luggage or cargo loads.
- Experience in medical transportation or school bus driving is advantageous but not required.
- Demonstrated responsibility for vehicle maintenance checks and adherence to safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
