JOB
Performs maintenance and custodial duties and is responsible for the safety and supervision of participants in Village coordinated functions within the Community Center and athletic field.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification.

Performs general maintenance and clean up duties such as the emptying of trash, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, wiping down tables and chairs and other furnishings, replenishing toilet paper and hand towels, and cleaning restrooms.

Performs manual work in semi-skilled jobs involving maintenance, repair of buildings, grounds and construction, including pressure cleaning, graffiti removal, painting and other related tasks.

Greets visitors in a friendly and sincere manner; assists general public, in person and on the telephone by providing general information regarding the Community Center’s programs and events.

Performs concession and cashier duties including sale of retail products; performs cash and credit card transactions.

Operates recreation software to perform membership, class and program registration.

Assists with the coordination of recreational activities and programs, including setting up and cleaning of rooms for recreational activities and party rentals.

Performs monthly facility maintenance and inspections as assigned.

Assists in training new employees on the recreation software and the daily responsibilities.

Performs daily facility inspections to ensure proper facility standards are met as detailed in the daily duty worksheets.

Enforces safety and other department rules and regulations.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
