About the role
ACTS Behavioral Health & Recovery Center is seeking an Agency-affiliated Counselor to provide direct clinical services at our Lynnwood branch office while supporting essential front desk administrative functions. This dual-role position is designed for a licensed or credentialed behavioral health professional who is comfortable working independently in a small branch office setting and contributing to both client care and day-to-day office operations.
Key responsibilities
Clinical (70%)
- Provide case management services to assigned clients, including service coordination, linkage to resources, and follow-up.
- Assist with group session facilitation and provide group support as needed.
Client reception & office environment (10%)
- Greet and check in clients; guide them through check-in/check-out procedures and assist with form completion.
- Handle incoming and outgoing faxes, emails, and mail for the Lynnwood office.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, counseling spaces, and common areas.
- Serve as key holder; responsible for opening and securing the office.
Assessment & documentation support (10%)
- Process intake paperwork for Lynnwood walk-in and scheduled clients; enter data accurately into the EHR system.
- Maintain the assessment tracker; record referral information and track progress through intake and assessment stages.
- Prepare, scan, and process consent forms and other required documentation as needed.
Lab & supplies (10%)
- Manage urinalysis sample collection, handling, and tracking; coordinate UPS pick-up as needed.
- Monitor and report office supply needs to the main office; maintain organized inventory.
Qualifications
- Current Agency-affiliated Counselor certificate in Washington State (preferred).
- Experience providing case management or group facilitation in a behavioral health setting (preferred, not required).
- Associate's or higher degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human services or relevant areas (preferred, not required).
- Comfortable working in a small, partially independent office environment with limited on-site supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
- Proficiency with EHR systems and standard office software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information in compliance with HIPAA.

We provide substance use disorder and mental health assessment, counseling, case management, and peer support, with a focus on serving Asian American and underserved communities.
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
