We are looking to hire a Behavior Technician to work with our Palestine campus and assist children with autism. A successful candidate will have patience, a playful attitude, and a passion for children in general—previous experience working with special education students teaching them valuable life skills is desired but not required. As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with our faculty and staff to improve student behavior and make general improvements for the well-being of the clients. You will be providing 1:1 ABA therapy for a child.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with autism caregivers and teachers.
- Interact with patients and keep them safe.
- Plan and implement treatments.
- Document patient behavior.
- Organize schedules.
- Work with multiple staff members.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Pass a background check
- Have a High School diploma or GED
We will provide training, you do not need to be an RBT to apply. You will need to be certified within 30 days of hire.
