Reporting to the Director of Strategic Workforce Management, the Recruiter is responsible for the talent acquisition needs of the organization and the full life-cycle of recruitment. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that viable candidates are sourced through cutting edge and innovate processes to fill vacant positions in a timely manner. The Recruiter is a proven expert in all facets of recruitment, job description development, employment law, emerging sourcing techniques and the highest level of customer service to Hiring Managers and Candidates.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required
- SHRM, HRCI or other related certification preferred
- Minimum of (5) five years of experience in a full cycle recruitment role
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Strong proven knowledge of HR and Employment laws, regulations and best practices
- Expert level knowledge of HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems, UKG Preferred
- Excellent computer skills with high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and associated programs.
- Professional communication skills for interaction with all levels of the organization and candidates
- Expert knowledge of emerging sourcing techniques, systems and operations
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fosters proactive relationship with all Hiring Mangers and Candidates
- Avoids legal challenges by understanding employment laws and regulations
- Partners with HR team on managing the Position Control
- Ensures vacant positions are posted accurately and timely with proactive posting language
- Manages and maintains job descriptions for the organization
- Partners with the Community Relations Department, ensuring that we are utilizing social media to attract applicants
- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites.
- Provides organization information, opportunities, and benefits to potential candidates
- Organizes and participates in community outreach events such as job fairs and associations relative to the position
- Creates and maintains internal job notifications for internal candidates
- Conducts Intake interview with Hirning Managers at time of initial posting to confirm full understanding the role and sourcing opportunities to align the best possible candidate for the role.
- As part of the initial candidate interview, performs assessment and shares information with Hiring Manager.
- Evaluates applicants and administers pre-screen contact when necessary/requested
- Assists with scheduling interviews as requested
- Prepares offer letters and provides onboarding information to the Onboarding Specialist to ensure timely onboarding of the new hire
- Maintains an excellent understanding of the benefits offered by the organization
- Ensures excellent understanding of the organizational structure and positions within the organization
- Participates in the success of the goals and objectives of the human resources department
- Other duties as assigned.
