Warehouse/Forklift Operator needed for a growing warehouse in Belleville. In this position, you will be responsible for efficiently packaging products, operating a forklift, and ensuring that the shipping and receiving process runs smoothly! Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
- Assist with order picking and packing
- Assist with warehouse management system updates, inventory tracking, and order processing to maintain accurate stock levels
- Load and unload shipments with precision, adhering to safety standards outlined by OSHA regulations
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials handling workflows and optimizing space utilization
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts (reach truck, clamp truck, Hi-Lo) and pallet jacks in a warehouse environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and order picking procedures
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and material handling
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy
- Previous experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse distribution is highly preferred
