About Us
An established medical device design and manufacturing firm with over 25 years of experience — focused on bringing novel medical devices to market that improve patient treatment options and outcomes — is expanding with a new production facility in Vadnais Heights, MN. As Production Team Lead, you will be one of the first hires on the floor, helping stand up production operations and shape this facility’s manufacturing culture from day one.
About the Role
The Production Team Lead reports to the Production Manager and is an integral part of the manufacturing team. This role leads the production team in day-to-day activities, delegates and prioritizes tasks, supports production planning, and ensures the team complies with and implements all quality management system (QMS) requirements.
The Team Lead communicates directly with the Production Manager to ensure monthly requirements are met on time and comply with quality standards, and works closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Quality Assurance, and Engineering. Duties include reviewing and distributing production and shipment schedules, compiling department metrics and reports, supporting internal and external audits, and mitigating production problems. This is a hands-on leadership role — you will spend time on the floor building product alongside your team, not just managing from a desk.
